Government Revises Petroleum Prices: Petrol Up by Rs 1, Diesel Unchanged

Islamabad: The government has made a slight adjustment in petroleum prices, increasing the price of petrol while keeping the diesel rate unchanged.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 1 per litre. With this change, the new price of petrol stands at Rs 253.63 per litre, up from the previous rate of Rs 252.63.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel remains unchanged at Rs 254.64 per litre.
These revised prices will be effective from June 1, 2025, and will remain in place until June 15, 2025.
